Richard's funeral service took place 22nd September 2020 at the Chilterns Crematorium in Amersham, Buckinghamshire.

Sadly, due to Covid-19 regulations, it wasn't possible to host more than 30 close family and friends. Those that could attend helped to send him off in fine style and it was a wonderful bitter-sweet event. Those that couldn't were able to watch the ceremony online.

In the fullness of time, once Covid-19 restrictions are finally and safely lifted, we hope to have a joyous, colourful celebration of his life. In the meantime, please pause a while to read the various comments and testimonials written by Richard's family, friends and colleagues: he really was a "man-in-a-million with a mathematical brain the size of a planet"!
